Super Consultants is an organisation set up by Vicwide Financial Services to provide strategic superannuation and retirement advice.
Our fees are fixed for the particular service provided. This fee is paid at the time of consultation.
We talk to you about the lifestyle that you would like to have when you retire and from our discussions we are able to determine the amount of money that you will require in today's dollars to achieve your goals.
This amount of money varies depending on the level of risk that you may be prepared to take with your investments.
For example, if you are a conservative investor who does not wish to invest in volatile investments such as shares, then you may have to have a larger lump sum in retirement than if you were to invest in a more growth oriented investment mix.
Having worked out how much you want to spend, we then calculate the amount of money you need to contribute based on a given investment return over the period to retirement. This will vary based on the investment mix.
We then look at your existing arrangements to see if they meet your requirements, if not, then we will recommend changing either the level of contributions or the investment mix within your fund or maybe a combination of both.
Finally, we review your insurance needs to see if the cover provided meets your needs if you were to die prematurely or be Totally and Permanently Disabled before retirement age.
